Arizona Shootings: A child's life lost

I have been thinking alot about the tragedy of the Arizona shootings. Mostly about the innocent 9 year old girl who lost her young life so horribly. She didnt get a chance to live, to experience all this world has to offer both good and bad. She didnt get a chance to finish school, fall in love, get married or have kids or fulfill any other dreams she may have had in the future. Her life was brutally cut short by a sick, mentally twisted young man who had no respect for himself or for the lives other people. I hope he gets the death penalty as soon as possible.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the families that were touched by the horror of this event. Especially the family of this beautiful sweet little girl.

What a sad, tragic thing to happen. People shot for no reason by a young mentally unbalanced man.. May the little 9 year old angel who was killed that day rest in peace.. Sweet, innocent child..

Red Lobster at Christmastime

Again, for the 3 year in a row, at least, my local Red Lobster restaurant has refused to put up a Christmas tree for the holiday season. The manager told me that corporate made the ruling because putting up a tree might offend those of a different religion. Yet, the restaurant had poinsettias, lights, evergreens etc which are all symbols of Christianity in one shape or form. Other restaurants in this area have no problem with putting up a tree, even taco bell had one up for Heaven's sake!! Oh well, one of those misguided corporate decisions that lack common sense logic..

Poinsettia beauty

At Christmastime, there is nothing that stirs my heart more than the beauty of a poinsettia plant. All colors, it doesnt matter, i love them. If I had the means, I would open my own poinsettia farm. I bought a yellow one over the christmas holidays covered with glitter, I hope it stays alive for months.. Well I know this is brief but I am getting my feet wet as far as writing on this site.. Thank you all for reading.
